Your Deposit is Non-Refundable however it can go to another day and time.
If you decide to cancel your photoshoot, for any reason, you are fully entitled to do so without penalty 12 days prior to the time and commencement of the shoot. In the event that you cancel your photoshoot with less than 24 hours’ notice you will have to pay another deposit in order to book again. If you do not show up on shoot day your credit card WILL be charged half of your package price. In the event that the photoshoot is cancelled by us, for any reason, your deposit shall be returned to you in full. By agreeing to pay the deposit, you agree to abide by the terms within this cancellation policy.

The truth about pinup photography is that it's not for everyone. There is a misconception that "you will look like a different person", but that just isn't so and frankly it shouldn't be your goal. You will still look like you and if you're not happy with yourself, your age or your body, you won't be happy with your photographs. We love diversity and welcome any size, color, shape and age. We strive to make every woman look and feel beautiful, but we can only do so much. We can't change one's perception of themselves. That starts inside. Please keep this in mind when booking your shoot! Cherry Blossoms does not offer refunds if you are unhappy with your photographs.

I own copyright of every image I shoot no matter if you pay me or not.
Your images my not be altered by you in any way that I do not approve of this means
adding text changing color and so on,.
If you would like an image to be retouch I can do so for and extra fee.

Practice! Take some time to figure out your best expressions and practice them so you can do them without thinking about it.
Bring lots of ideas... research research research... poses and facial expressions...
Make sure your nails are cleaned and groomed. Paint your fingers and toes in a nice era-appropriate color like classic red or soft pink (no black, green, blue, etc please). I also prefer working with freshly washed and thoroughly dry hair. Come with a fresh clean face NO MAKEUP!
Drink lots of water and wear loose fitting clothing. Avoid tight fitting undergarments as they are the most likely to leave elastic pressure lines on your skin.

We have one of the largest vintage wardrobe collections on the east coast from size 0-12 and shoes from 7-8

What You MUST bring with you! A nude or black thong to wear under garments.
Make sure you are clean-shaven where required (guys-face & neck, girls-legs & underarms, think wedding-night ready!).
Era-appropriate footwear is required. (If you are a size 7-8 I have shoes). For ideas, please see the links page, or take a look at the footwear in all of our pinup photographs.
Do not wear jewelry of any kind, except for wedding rings.

Pre-Shoot: On the phone or via email we will discuss what you'd like to do for your shoot and will set up the day and time of your shoot. If you check out http://www.thepinupfiles.com/ you will find lots of great ideas! We can do almost anything so be creative you don’t want to have photos like every one else do you?

Shoot Day: Bring whatever outfits you want to wear or use some of our things. If you have a specific idea in mind it is best to bring your own wardrobe. Don't forget shoes and accessories!
Outfit ideas:
Bring clothing that you feel sexy and beautiful in. Bras, panties, corsets, teddies, stockings, tank tops, booty shorts, jeans, shorts, sports jerseys & men’s business shirts are all popular. Don’t forget to bring accessories for each of your outfits as well as your sexiest shoes.

After your shoot: It takes about four weeks to get your retouched images back. They will be emailed to you web ready and Mailed to you on a photo CD Hires ready for prints!

Q:What is the difference between the standard and deluxe retouching?
A:Standard retouching consists of level and color adjustment.
Deluxe retouching is more extensive and includes airbrushing skin, leaving it completely flawless, removing bruises, scars, cellulite and tan lines, body and face reshaping and contouring, whiting eyes and teeth and special effects (such as black and white with color accents, retro frames and/or text, etc.).
